Mega-mod adds 20,000 environmental objects to GTA 5, transforming Los Santos

A fan of the GTA series is working on an ambitious mod that completely overhauls the game's visual landscape. Developer Pluma_1980 has created GTA5 V4EVER – a mod aimed at updating the atmosphere of the entire Los Santos and Blaine County map by adding a massive amount of environmental objects.

The project's foundation consists of 20,000 new objects integrated into the game world. This isn't just about trees – the mod includes plants, shrubs, fences, poles, signs, street clutter, and roadside scenery. Alongside adding fresh elements, the mod removes outdated props like phone booths that have long lost their relevance.

Another detail of Pluma_1980's work is the visual overhaul of neighborhoods. Some districts received a fresh coat of paint, while others got a new layer of grime depending on their economic standing. The mod creator's goal is simple and clear:

My goal is just to refresh the world – to make every part of the map feel alive again, like a game built for today.

Judging by the screenshots, the results look impressive – Los Santos and Blaine County have gained increased detail density. Main thoroughfares received an updated appearance, while the outskirts came back to life. Meanwhile, the modification preserves the game's original spirit.
