Fans found Bill Skarsgård's raincoat from PHYSINT – it costs 2088 Euro

Hideo Kojima never lets character clothing just be clothing – it is gear, part of the lore, and an excuse to zoom in on stitching during photo mode. This time it went so far that a poncho from his upcoming game can actually be found in an online store and ordered for delivery, at a price comparable to a decent PC build.

The piece in question is the rain poncho seen on Bill Skarsgård in PHYSINT promotional material. One eagle-eyed observer identified it as the CP6-GT by ACRONYM, priced at 2088 EUR.

It's pretty bad ass for a rain poncho.

ACRONYM is a Berlin-based label founded by Errolson Hugh, operating since 1994, and it essentially invented the techwear genre in its modern form. The GT in the name stands for Gore-Tex, and this particular outerwear line is built on professional-grade three-layer membrane fabrics. That explains the price tag – the brand jackets and coats have long since crossed the two-thousand-euro mark, and buyers treat that as business as usual.

This doesn't look like a coincidence. Errolson Hugh already worked with Kojima Productions on costume design for Death Stranding, where signature techwear details like straps, webbing, and the hanging pouch made their way straight from the brand catalog onto Sam Bridges' gear. So seeing an ACRONYM piece on an actor in the studio's new game feels more like a continuation of an existing partnership than a random stylist pick.

For PHYSINT, this wardrobe choice makes even more sense. Kojima has described the game as a blend of cinema and spy action, positioned as the next step after Metal Gear, aiming to make players feel like real field operatives. A functional membrane poncho built for rain fits that kind of protagonist far better than a classic trench coat would.
