Reigns: The Witcher overview trailer showcases core mechanics and Geralt's many deaths

Devolver Digital and Nerial have released an overview trailer for Reigns: The Witcher – another variation of the popular Reigns series, this time set in The Witcher universe.

Players will control Geralt of Rivia as he navigates through the drunken ballads of bard Dandelion.

Gameplay builds on Reigns' signature mechanics – players make decisions by swiping left or right. Geralt will hunt monsters, clash with locals, or relax in a hot bath. Each choice shapes the epic story that Dandelion narrates.

Reigns: The Witcher offers thousands of storyline combinations. Quests from colorful characters rarely turn out as simple as they first appear, while Dandelion's ballads steer the story in dramatic and unexpected directions. Geralt's journey features familiar faces – Yennefer, Triss, and Vesemir.

Special attention goes to Dandelion's own career. Players can perform polished versions of Geralt's greatest feats outside the tavern, solving puzzles and unlocking new characters. Leveling up the bard enables crafting increasingly epic storylines and eventually achieving legendary status.

Reigns: The Witcher launches February 25 for PC (Steam, GOG), iOS, and Android.
