Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 players killed 452 million NPCs in one year – more than Earth's entire 15th century population
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 celebrated its first anniversary, and Warhorse released player activity statistics for the period. The data shows that fans of the medieval action game turned the story of good-natured Henry of Skalitz into a bloody slaughter – with elements of heavy drinking and a strange obsession with fruit.
The developers shared an infographic about player activity. Collectively, players killed 452.8 million NPCs – more than the estimated global population in the 15th century when the game takes place. Only 97.5 million characters were spared. Notably, 5.4 million kills were committed while drunk.
Less violent statistics are equally impressive. Players traveled a combined 667 million miles across Bohemia – roughly 25 times the length of Earth's equator. They brewed 69.7 million potions, consumed 48.8 million apples, and executed 1.6 billion perfect blocks.
For those just starting their journey with Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, such statistics might seem strange. Early in the game, a random encounter with a bandit means almost certain death for Henry. But after mastering the combat system, acquiring proper equipment, and leveling up, the character becomes far more dangerous.
While the game won't let you cut down dozens of enemies simultaneously like in typical action RPGs, most one-on-one duels stop being a serious threat.
