Massive Emperor robot inches closer to Spaceport in ARC Raiders
Players in ARC Raiders have discovered that the massive Emperor, one of the largest potential enemies in the game, has moved closer to the Spaceport – visible from Buried City in one of the game states. According to community reports, the enormous machine was spotted very close to the location's towers, dwarfing them in size.
Naturally, players are shocked:
How in god's name are we supposed to fight this thing next month when it's towering over the Spaceport Tower?
This is the first time I've seen it walk this close. IT'S FECKING HUGE!!!
What if we have to climb inside it?
Looks like it's time to pull out Agent Simmons' manual [from Transformers – ed.]
There are other sentiments as well:
Just shoot the leg, get to the core, and get out, ha-ha.
This isn't the first instance of large robots approaching key locations. Players have been documenting similar movements since November last year, which may indicate the game world's evolution and preparation for major gameplay changes. According to the roadmap, a massive arc will be added to the game in April along with a new map.
Developers at Embark Studios haven't commented on the situation yet, so it remains unclear whether the Emperor will indeed become the future threat or if it'll be some other Baron. Players speculate that the new enemy could be the Lumberjack – a robot from the "Superior Specimen" quest.
