FromSoftware managed to fit the entire plot of Elden Ring into a few seconds of the new Tarnished Edition trailer
FromSoftware and Bandai Namco have released a new story trailer for Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition on Nintendo Switch 2. The release is set for August 28.
The trailer revisits key story beats: the Elden Ring has shattered, and demigods have waged senseless wars over its fragments. Players once again take on the role of the Tarnished, venturing into the Lands Between in search of grace to claim the throne of a new Elden Lord.
Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition is the complete package of the acclaimed open-world soulslike. It bundles the original game with the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, which earned strong reviews from critics after launching in 2024.
The expansion offers a separate storyline, dropping players into the Shadow Realm without grace or honor.
Elden Ring launched in February 2022 on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, and Xbox One, earning a reputation as one of the best games of its generation.
The Nintendo Switch 2 version marks the game first appearance on a Nintendo handheld, opening it up to a much wider audience.
Tarnished Edition will also launch on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series.
