GTA 6 preload starts November 12, game size revealed
The PlayStation Game Size account on Twitter revealed the full download size of GTA 6. It comes in at 210 GB, and several journalists have already confirmed the figure after receiving their press copies.
Preloading starts on November 12 on all platforms.
By base file size, GTA 6 ranks among the largest games ever made. For Xbox Series S owners with 512 GB of storage, the news is grim – the game will eat up more than half of the space available for games. Terabyte consoles are in better shape, but clearing out some room ahead of time is still a good idea.
GTA 6 unlocks at midnight between November 18 and 19, so plan your weekend three weeks out and file your vacation requests early.
Rockstar Games is set to release GTA 6 on November 19, 2026.
