A mod with voice acting for all books, notes, and letters has been released for Skyrim

Skyrim has so many books, notes, and journals that reading them all counts as its own quest. Now you don't even have to bother.

The Immersively Voiced Books of Skyrim mod gives voices to in-game books, letters, and notes using character voices. If a document was written by an NPC who already has voice acting in the base game, the mod uses that same voice, turning the text into another piece of world dialogue.

You can close the book and keep listening while traveling, running quests, or even fighting. The result is basically an audiobook version of Tamriel.

The mod comes from a single creator going by AuctorLucan, which is why the voices are AI-generated. According to the creator, recording that much text with professional voice actors would be too costly and too big an undertaking for a solo project.

Immersively Voiced Books of Skyrim is available now on Nexus Mods for PC.
