All 144 levels of "Silo" can be explored on an interactive 3D map
A vertical maze can be just as maddening as any sprawling open world. When humanity is crammed into a concrete tube spanning a hundred and fifty floors, viewers eventually want more than just following characters around – they want to see the whole structure of this vertical prison.
One fan of Apple TV+ show Silo has done exactly that, releasing an interactive 3D visualization of Silo 18 (and the abandoned Silo 17) – the main setting of the show.
The show is based on the Hugh Howey trilogy and centers on an underground bunker with 144 levels, where humanity has hidden from a poisoned atmosphere for generations.
The upper floors house administration, the cafeteria, and the sheriff's office, deeper down are residential levels and farms, and at the very bottom sit the mechanical department and the locked IT server room, holding every secret about where the silo came from.
Moving between these zones takes days of climbing stairs, and this physical isolation between levels drives much of the show's tension.
The third season of Silo wraps up today. Apple already has a script ready for season four – something confirmed back in early 2025.
