Mizora from Baldur's Gate 3 has become a full-fledged companion thanks to a new mod

Baldur's Gate 3 modders have moved well beyond tweaking existing companions and building custom campaigns.

Now you can recruit characters Larian never designed as party members in the first place. The latest example is Mizora, Wyll infernal patron, now available to join up in act three.

A mod called Mizora Joins the Party just went live on Nexus Mods, created by modder WorldWalker42. A Reddit user commissioned the work, wanting Mizora turned from a temporary combat ally into a full party member complete with her own lines and reactions. You can recruit her after reaching a certain point in Wyll personal questline.

Bring the cambion into your party and she'll get her own spot at the Rivington, Lower City alley, and Elfsong camps. As an active party member, Mizora acts like any other companion, commenting on story events and specific locations. All her "new" dialogue comes from repurposed audio files already in the game.

All of Mizora's 'new' dialogue uses repurposed assets from the original game. I did not use AI in any way or at any stage of developing this mod. All files were created and edited using the official toolkit or a text editor.

The mod also includes a spell letting Mizora shift into a human form – a model that was left unused in the game files. She also shows up in the epilogue with a letter reflecting on the choices you made throughout the story. The mod works even if you're playing as Wyll himself.

It shouldn't clash with other mods touching Wyll or his questline, as long as those don't edit certain key dialogue files. WorldWalker42 pulled off something similar last month, adding Dame Aylin and Isobel to the party as a separate mod.
