Nenya, one of the three elven Rings of Power in Tolkien lore, was never meant to be everyday jewelry. But that's exactly what one lovesick gamer made for his proposal.
The ring was designed from scratch in platinum with a 2ct diamond, and the shape closely mirrors the actual Nenya from Peter Jackson trilogy. Delicate petal-like prongs spread around the central stone, giving the piece that ethereal elven look, as if it really was forged somewhere in Lothlorien.
The result looks genuinely striking and heartfelt, especially considering the bride-to-be picked the design herself rather than it being a surprise.
There's something special in the fact that this ring is literally a symbol of protection and preservation, since that's exactly how Nenya worked in the lore, shielding Lothlorien from the decay of time.
