Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties demo now available on PC, PS5, Xbox Series, and Switch 2
SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio released the demo for Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties. The trial version is now available on PC (Steam), PS5, Xbox Series, and Switch 2. Save data from the demo cannot be carried over to the full game.
The demo allows players to experience both games included in this two-in-one collection. In Yakuza Kiwami 3, players head to Okinawa as Kazuma Kiryu, where they can explore Ryukyu, battle enemies while dynamically switching between the brutal Dragon of Dojima: Kiwami style and the weapon-based Ryukyu combat style.
The developers promise more brutal and dynamic encounters compared to the original, along with expanded story content featuring additional episodes and substories that reveal the narrative from new perspectives.
Dark Ties is a standalone game focused on Yoshitaka Mine – one of the key characters from the original Yakuza 3. The project tells the story of a former successful startup owner who lost everything and descended into the yakuza underworld. The devastated Mine searches for genuine connections and people with whom he can forge strong bonds, leading him on a dramatic journey filled with intense battles.
The fates of both protagonists intersect throughout the narrative, significantly impacting their lives. Yakuza Kiwami 3 and Dark Ties launch on February 12.
