Leaked nude Lucia from GTA 6 sparks debate over realistic body

A leak from a major game usually promises talk about mechanics, physics, and map size. In practice, attention drifts to exactly where developers would least like it to go.

Instead of discussing shootouts and car chases, the internet is studying the protagonist's breasts with a ruler.

About a month before the release of GTA 6, set for November 19, 2026, on PS5 and Xbox Series, another batch of leaked material showed Lucia Caminos fully nude.

Some players praised the detail of the model, while others immediately declared her "not curvy enough," and from there the conversation drifted far away from the game itself.

Those speaking out against body shaming pointed to a simple fact. Lucia is modeled after a real actress, Manni L. Perez, just as Michael, Trevor, and Franklin in GTA 5 were based on their actors. One player put it this way:

Before we complain about the video game model, let's remember that Lucia is modelled after a real person, and as the first (not counting player-created GTA Online protagonist or GTA I sprite avatar) female protagonist in Grand Theft Auto history (who is based on a real person in the same way Michael, Trevor, Franklin, Jason is based on their actors) it would be nice to welcome Manni to the GTA family rather than body shame her before the game is out.

Other commenters were harsher, blaming complaints about "small breasts" on expectations shaped by porn and the exaggerated models of other games. Some noted that Lucia looks like an ordinary, real woman, and that this is exactly what throws part of the audience off.

A darker thought also surfaced in the comments: when a character is based on a real person, the actress's face and body will almost inevitably circulate in explicit mods and deepfakes for years.

Another question is whether nudity will be available in regular gameplay at all. There is precedent, since Cyberpunk 2077 let players create a fully nude protagonist right in the character creator.

In the leaked clip, however, NPCs show no reaction to the naked heroine, even though Rockstar has talked at length about a living, reactive world, and the models themselves look blurry. Hence the popular theory that the assets come from a cutscene or a special mission at the nudist beach, pulled into the game through a debug menu.

Through all of this, Rockstar looks remarkably calm, as the leaks barely interfere with marketing and are unlikely to affect future sales.
