A fan created an interactive map of the "Game of Thrones" world in the style of Google Maps
An enthusiast going by vlado.noodles spent about a month building an interactive map of the "A Song of Ice and Fire" world and published the result on Vercel. The project covers both continents of the universe – Westeros and Essos.
The map is available in Russian and English, with some names also rendered in Dothraki.
The developer deliberately skipped decorative fantasy styling for the interface, sticking to a Google Maps-style format instead. The goal, according to them, was to cut out visual clutter so nothing distracts from exploring the world, which is already atmospheric enough on its own.
The mobile version got special attention too, with the interface adapted for phones and optimized for easy navigation. The map is live at coiaf.vercel.app.
