New Kena: Scars of Kosmora trailer shows off plenty of gorgeous locations
Ember Lab has revealed a new trailer for Kena: Scars of Kosmora – a sequel to the action-adventure Kena: Bridge of Spirits. The new entry sends experienced spirit guide Kena to the mysterious island of Kosmora, which has been consumed by a strange corruption. She's searching for a cure to her own affliction and hoping to reunite with an old friend.
The trailer is short but visually striking, showing off a variety of stunning locations Kena will explore throughout the game. Based on the footage, she'll also gain a large wolf as a companion, which can apparently be used to traverse the world.
During her journey, Kena will uncover a forgotten and potentially dangerous method of communicating with spirits. Bonding with new spirit companions is central to the gameplay – their abilities feed into puzzle-solving and combat, while elemental control adds depth to the fight system. Kosmora itself promises plenty of variety: scenic environments, ancient temples tied to the island's mysterious past, powerful bosses, and distinct local cultures.
Kena: Scars of Kosmora is coming to PC and PS5, with no release date announced yet.
