The large-scale mod Project Medusa for Far Cry 3 has received a gameplay video

Modder Scar has released a new gameplay video for Project Medusa, an upcoming overhaul mod for Far Cry 3. The five-minute clip shows off restored content pulled from the game early alpha and beta builds.

Project Medusa aims to bring back content that got cut from Far Cry 3 during its alpha and beta stages. The mod restores visuals, UI elements, vegetation, materials, textures, and enemy types from those earlier builds.

On top of that, the mod brings back the old model for protagonist Jason, adds new weapons, and includes several models that never made it into the final release. Cut scripts and sound effects are also part of the package.

There is no set release date for Project Medusa yet. The developer plans to share more details closer to launch.
