New Pragmata trailer showcases twisted New York and reveals story details
Capcom released a new trailer for Pragmata – its hybrid puzzle-shooter. The footage showcases a strange version of Earth and reveals story details through interactions between protagonists Hugh and Dianna. For instance, it's revealed that Hugh grew up in an orphanage.
The trailer shows the characters walking through an unusual holographic recreation of New York City, with minimal gameplay footage. It concludes by introducing a new enemy type – a twisted reflection of a human being.
Pragmata launches on PC, PS5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2 on April 24. The developers confirmed they're testing mouse and keyboard controls as well as technical aspects like frame rate stability.
The Pragmata demo is now available on Steam, and has also been released on PS5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2. It lets players experience the game's opening sections with pistols and shotguns. The demo effectively showcases gameplay that blends third-person action with fast-paced puzzle solving – the latter being used to make enemies more vulnerable.
