Arc Raiders player spends 16 hours gathering 500 fuel canisters to one-shot the Queen with a massive explosion
Few enemies in Arc Raiders inspire as much dread as the Queen – a massive six-legged mechanical beast capable of tearing through even the most coordinated teams. YouTuber Zeeb decided to test whether she could be destroyed with a single hit – and the results came surprisingly close to success.
Conventional weapons obviously won't cut it for such a feat – if they could, Embark would have serious balancing problems. But Zeeb found a workaround: a makeshift bomb constructed from hundreds of synthesized fuel canisters. Explosive damage stacks for each part of an Arc that gets hit, and players estimate the Queen's health sits between 25,000 and 35,000. Theoretically, around 500 canisters might be enough.
The first challenge was gathering the fuel. Canisters had to be collected from random in-game drops with shop purchase limitations factored in. "16 hours I'm not getting back," Zeeb summarized the preparation phase.
The second problem was positioning the Queen. She's too tall for a ground-level explosion to reach her, and canisters won't stack no matter how many you drop. The solution came at Dam Battleground – a hiding spot that forces the Queen to kneel for her laser attack, bringing her closer to the impending inferno.
Zeeb assembled a three-person team and set out. The first attempt was ruined by other raiders, but the second went according to plan. After placing all canisters in one spot, the team aggro'd the giant prowling robot, dodged its attacks, and ignited the fuel pile when the Queen leaned down. The explosion tanked the frame rate, health and ammo ran critically low, but when the smoke cleared – the Queen still stood. Barely alive, literally on death's door, but standing. Unfortunately, Zeeb died before the team could finish her off, though the experiment itself was deemed a success.
Bottom line – you can't one-shot possibly the most powerful enemy in the game – but with enough determination and 16 hours of canister farming, you can get frighteningly close.
