Sleepy character oversleeps work, battles monsters and dreams big in new Neverness to Everness trailer

Hotta Studio released a character trailer for Mint from the upcoming open-world RPG Neverness to Everness. The video showcases the heroine in action, unleashing her ultimate ability "Super Duper Ultra 360 Whirlwind Slash" to combat anomalies. The footage depicts a typical workday for the hunter as she attempts to handle an extraordinarily powerful anomaly that appeared in the skies above Hethereau.

Unfortunately, the trailer opens with her oversleeping for work, then daydreaming extensively about gaining recognition at her job – if only she could wake up on time.

In Neverness to Everness players take on the role of the first "unlicensed" Anomaly Hunter in the city of Hethereau. The action unfolds in a world where humans and supernatural beings coexist side by side. The protagonist joins the Eibon antique shop, which stays afloat by taking on anomaly elimination commissions from the public. Together with diverse companions, players will investigate urban mysteries and craft their unique urban saga.

Hethereau is a bustling open-world metropolis where the Bureau of Anomaly Control hall sees queues forming for residence permits, while chaotic chases unfold in the streets. The game offers freedom of exploration – players can customize their vehicle and race through city streets or use the Ghost Train for rapid travel through anomalous spaces.

Beyond the main story, the title will feature diverse side stories and the ability to make friends through the "Bagel" system. Players can encounter mysterious shop owners, high-level bodyguards, robotic butlers, and other unusual characters. During downtime, you can visit old shops on Hankaku Street, purchase a cozy home and decorate it to your taste.

Pre-registration for Neverness to Everness is now open for PC and PS5. The game's release date has not yet been announced.
