Nakwon: Last Paradise closed alpha trailer sets a bleak tone for post-apocalyptic Seoul
Nexon has kicked off the closed beta test for Nakwon: Last Paradise. If you signed up, keep an eye on your inbox – invites are rolling out gradually throughout the test period.
To mark the occasion, Nexon dropped a final trailer meant to set the mood. It opens with a woman searching for somewhere safe, only for the place to get overrun by zombies.
By the time anyone shows up, it's already too late – and the arrivals don't exactly look like they're there to help.
The action then moves into the ruins of Seoul, following a group of survivors and one lone "survivor" through what remains of the city. The trailer is relentlessly grim, making clear that Nakwon: Last Paradise isn't really about gunning down the undead.
The focus is on everyday life in a world where the dead have simply become part of the backdrop.
You can sign up for the closed test through the game's Steam page. Instructions here, and the test runs until March 16.
