Resident Evil Requiem deluxe edition costumes revealed – including Lady Dimitrescu outfit for Grace

Ahead of release, Resident Evil Requiem Capcom has revealed the full lineup of costumes included in the deluxe edition. Five alternate outfits are split between the two protagonists – Grace Ashcroft and Leon S. Kennedy.

Costumes don't affect gameplay and can be swapped via the title screen under Bonuses > Bonus Settings.

Grace gets two costumes – "Dimitrescu" and "Noir." Leon gets three – "RE4," "Apocalypse," and "Noir."

The Dimitrescu look for Grace draws directly from Lady Dimitrescu of Resident Evil Village – an elegant white gown with gothic flair. The Noir costume reimagines the FBI analyst as a classic 1940s detective heroine, and pairs well with the Noir screen filter also bundled in the deluxe edition.

Leon's RE4 outfit brings back the iconic brown leather jacket and black turtleneck from the Resident Evil 4 remake – the look synonymous with his mission to rescue Ashley Graham. The Apocalypse costume goes harder with a post-apocalyptic military aesthetic, while Noir gives the veteran a hardboiled detective makeover.

Beyond the costumes, the deluxe bundle includes four weapon skins in Noir and Apocalypse styles for the Requiem and S&S M232, two screen filters, Mr. Raccoon charms and a DSO emblem, a Classic Raccoon City audio pack, and "Letters from 1998" files.

Community reactions have been mixed. Plenty of fans were thrilled by the Dimitrescu costume – the iconic villain from Resident Evil Village remains one of the franchise's most beloved characters. Others took issue with Leon receiving three costumes tied to previous games while both of Grace's outfits feel disconnected from her character and role in the story, though that's somewhat inevitable given she's a brand-new addition to the series.

There's also been pushback on the costume-swapping mechanic itself. Since outfits can only be changed from the main menu rather than at save rooms or checkpoints, a number of players have called the system outdated.

Resident Evil Requiem launches February 27, 2026 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2.
