Tiny Hero Courier channels miniature animation style from Love, Death & Robots and could become your new favorite postal delivery game
Stylish Tiny Hero Courier was announced by Polish developers over a year ago but somehow slipped under our radar. The lack of news since then didn't help spread awareness either. Yet it definitely deserves a spot on your wishlist. The game draws inspiration from the Love, Death & Robots anthology – specifically the episode "Night of the Mini Dead." Its distinctive tilt-shift visual style creates the impression of a miniature diorama world.
The game tells the story of Rupert – an ordinary courier in a tiny post-apocalyptic world who must deliver the last packages while dodging hordes of fast zombies and keeping his boss satisfied. His mission: survive, deliver cargo, and maintain his sense of humor.
Tiny Hero Courier is a fast-paced action game. Rupert delivers packages of various sizes, each affecting movement speed and strategy. Special cargo like explosive TNT or fragile items add unique gameplay challenges and require careful handling to avoid failure.
The package-carrying mechanics require holding a button, creating tension and adding an extra layer of difficulty. Dropping a package isn't an option – the consequences are serious, making each delivery feel meaningful.
Rupert uses switches and mechanisms to solve puzzles, activate traps, and clear obstacles along his path. Every interaction brings him closer to completing deliveries. Players must plan their actions carefully to face or avoid powerful bosses and minibosses. One wrong move can trigger dangerous enemies, testing reflexes and tactical skills.
Navigation happens through an interactive world map where players drive Rupert's vehicle, explore new areas, unlock missions, and discover secrets. The map system is inspired by a similar mechanic from Cuphead.
No release date yet, but there's a Steam page.
