Arc Raiders players discover a new meta strategy – becoming street performers at extraction zones
Extraction shooter Arc Raiders offers plenty of ways to get loot. You can sneak around locations searching for containers, battle robots for parts, hunt other raiders in PvP, or set up ambushes at evacuation zones. Now players have discovered a completely new high-risk, high-reward approach – becoming a street performer.
Musical instruments in Arc Raiders were added as an entertainment mechanic, allowing players to lighten the mood with tunes. Instruments sync up during group play, creating an ensemble. Some players decided to test their luck by simply playing guitar near extraction points and relying on the community's generosity.
Friendly raiders occasionally share blueprints or loot with other players. Redditor UsualApricot8360 claimed this generosity got them high-tier loot just for playing guitar. They showed off a haul of Queen Reactors, Bastion Cells, and other valuable items that players apparently dropped for them. Quite an impressive result.
However, not everyone can boast similar luck. Some commenters reported only receiving low-tier loot like springs and wires, while most others said raiders simply shot them. Seems not everyone appreciates the arts when loot is on the line, but the method is worth trying if nothing else works.
