ARC Raiders duplication glitch lets players spam grenades and ziplines
Extraction shooter ARC Raiders is facing a serious problem – players are massively exploiting an item duplication bug, making the game nearly unbearable in some cases. While such glitches are common in extraction games, the situation in ARC Raiders has spiraled out of control.
Embark seemingly had the issue under control when players duplicating rubber ducks found themselves buried under piles of their own ducks. However, cheaters quickly found a workaround and switched to other items. Now Trigger 'Nades and ziplines are being spammed everywhere, turning locations into absolute chaos.
The ARC Raiders subreddit is flooded with videos showcasing the scale of the problem. Maps have become zones of continuous explosions – grenades detonate at every corner within seconds. In other areas, players are literally creating cages out of ziplines, blocking passages.
Even popular streamer TheBurntPeanut, who started the ARC Raiders war, is using the glitch to spam entire zones with Trigger 'Nades, completely blocking routes from enemy players. The problem is especially critical in PvP lobbies, where the bug is being applied to weapons, while in PvE mode players mainly duplicate rubber ducks.
Gameplay has fundamentally changed – players no longer shoot or take cover. Instead, they simply barrel through hallways, throwing Trigger 'Nades everywhere and wiping out anything in their path. It's unclear what exactly caused this surge in exploits – whether a recent update or discovery of a new duplication method.
Embark stated they're aware of the issue and a hotfix will be released soon.
