Retro shooter Starship Troopers: Ultimate Bug War! launches on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series

Dotemu and Auroch Digital have released a launch trailer for Starship Troopers: Ultimate Bug War – a retro first-person shooter set in the iconic Starship Troopers universe.

The game drops players into the Starship Troopers universe, enlisting them in the Mobile Infantry for an all-out war against the Arachnids. The developers promise an original story wrapped in fast-paced gameplay inspired by classic shooters.

The United Citizen Federation is calling up fresh recruits to defend humanity from the bug threat. The Arachnids have spread far beyond their home planet of Klendathu, overtaking human colonies across the galaxy.

What were once thriving settlements now lie in ruins after relentless alien attacks. Players take on the role of Sammy, tasked with halting the invasion using the full arsenal of the Mobile Infantry.
