Cyberpunk 2077 is now fully fixed – you can die of embarrassment thanks to an unexpectedly well-designed bathroom mod
More than five years after launch and a long road to redemption, Cyberpunk 2077 is finally, completely fixed. The last remaining flaw has been patched – V can now soil themselves to death. Literally.
A mod called Flushing Etiquette adds the call of nature to the game. V now periodically needs to find a bathroom, or face catastrophic consequences. As the author juiiicy00 puts it:
"Either food in NC creates zero waste or V is sporting some kind of chromed up intestine, V can no longer escape nature's call."
The mod introduces a Sims-style bathroom gauge that needs constant attention. Eating and drinking fill the meter, while using a toilet empties it. It can be paired with Dark Future – Urban Survival Gameplay, which layers in needs and addiction mechanics – or you can just run the bathroom mod on its own. Your call.
For what's essentially a joke mod, it's put together with a surprising amount of care. Cheap food has a chance to cause food poisoning, instantly spiking the meter to 100%. Each bathroom visit can go well or poorly, determined by a dice roll – a good one grants buffs, a bad one hands out penalties.
Then there's the main event. When the meter hits 100%, the screen starts flashing and a timer kicks off. If V doesn't reach a working toilet in time, the mod's creator has this to say:
"V violently shits their pants dying from embarrassment. No really… you will flatline."
No new animations were added, mercifully.
