Lenny Kravitz plays the villain in the new 007 First Light trailer

IO Interactive has shared an expanded trailer for 007 First Light at IGN Fan Fest, putting the spotlight on the game's main antagonist. Grammy Award winner Lenny Kravitz plays the Pirate King Bawma – a charismatic and unpredictable leader of a powerful black-market arms network.

Bawma first appeared at The Game Awards, but the new footage fleshes out his character further. The trailer shows his dramatic first encounter with Bond and MI6 mentor John Greenway, built entirely around Kravitz's voice and likeness. He looks set to play a central role in shaping Bond's path as an agent.

In 007 First Light, players follow a young James Bond – not yet the legendary spy, but a capable and sometimes reckless recruit in MI6's training program. The story has him chasing a rogue agent who's always one step ahead, with gameplay offering full freedom in approach: quiet infiltration or loud confrontation, using fists, firearms, gadgets, or manipulation to get past guards.

007 First Light launches on May 27. The PC system requirements are available here.
