The new game marks the biggest shift in the franchise's history – a series that has accumulated over 25 million players worldwide. We Were Here Tomorrow takes players to a retro-futuristic complex called the Norcek facility, a mysterious place filled with strange technology, unsettling secrets, and unanswered questions.

Like previous entries, the game is strictly two-player and keeps the series' signature walkie-talkie communication. Each player only has part of the information needed to solve puzzles, so clear communication with your partner is essential to make any progress.

For the first time in the series, both Explorers will have unique retro-futuristic gear and their own asymmetric abilities, adding a new layer of interdependence between players.

The asymmetric puzzle design of We Were Here Tomorrow means each partner experiences the game differently, yet both fates hinge on working in sync. Beyond communication tools, each Explorer has individual abilities needed to overcome obstacles and push forward.

The developers promise a full narrative with exploration of uncharted areas of the complex, advanced technology, and dark secrets hidden within the Norcek facility.
