Original Kingdom Come: Deliverance receives surprise PS5 and Xbox Series upgrade
Warhorse Studios released an update for Kingdom Come: Deliverance for current-gen consoles. Moreover, the release happened unexpectedly and is available right now as a free upgrade for all owners of the original game.
The update includes improved graphics and enhanced framerates, giving the 2018 original a next-gen facelift. This makes the first installment more accessible for those who've only played Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
Besides being free for owners of the original, players will be able to transfer their saves if they don't want to start over. Though a fresh start might be worthwhile – the before and after comparison shots in the trailer showcase a wealth of improvements, including more detail and additional NPCs that breathe new life into the 2018 release.
Getting into specifics, players can now toggle the game to run at 60 FPS and in 4K resolution.
