ARC Raiders officially broken again as players lose loot after extraction

Embark Studios is facing a new critical issue in ARC Raiders – fixing one bug led to an even more serious problem.

Following a hotfix intended to eliminate the infinite ammo exploit, a new critical issue emerged in the game. Players are reporting widespread loss of all collected loot after successful map extraction.

The ARC Raiders community is actively discussing the situation across social media. The problem affects the core gameplay loop – players enter a raid, collect valuable resources and equipment, successfully extract, but discover their inventory is empty after loading.

This bug becomes particularly painful for those who managed to obtain rare items, spent significant time on a raid, or collected items specifically needed to complete project objectives. Given that loot collection and progression through found gear are key game mechanics, this bug essentially makes ARC Raiders unplayable for many users.

Embark Studios has not yet released an official statement about the issue or timeline for a fix. Players can only wait for a new patch, temporarily avoid raids to prevent losing progress, or hope the bug passes them by.

Meanwhile, by mid-February sales of ARC Raiders reached 14 million copies. These figures were presented by publisher Nexon during their quarterly report. Average weekly users remain at 6 million, while daily concurrent Steam players fluctuate between 90k and 250k.
