Starfield receives free mod with a whole new city and multiple quests

Modder vmroche released a new mod adding free content to Bethesda's latest space RPG – Starfield. For anyone still playing, this is a must-install.

The Lakin-Ik mod adds a western-style town similar to Akila, located on planet Zeta Ophiuchi I. The settlement features numerous quests and enemies to fight, a customizable house, and other pre-furnished buildings.

Players can travel to Lakin-Ik and speak with Mayor Victor Balam – he'll send them into a cave to retrieve a book. The mod also includes account opening at LakinBank with interest accrual on savings. Players can even take out loans to purchase a house or a custom ship that packs considerable firepower.

The town offers plenty of activities. Players can assist local residents to earn affinity points, visit the cantina to enjoy country music, or battle a pirate group attacking the bank's ships.
