Free Bedrock Reimagined mod turns Minecraft Bedrock Edition into a full RPG with bosses, magic, and quests
5 Frame Studios has released Bedrock Reimagined – a massive free add-on for Minecraft Bedrock Edition that completely overhauls the vanilla experience. The mod is available for download on CurseForge and has already caught the community's attention, though not without some technical hiccups at launch.
Bedrock Reimagined adds an enormous amount of new content. There are epic bosses and mini-bosses, custom structures scattered across the world, and procedurally generated mineshafts packed with mobs and loot. New hostile mobs show up across every biome, while pets, passive animals, and ambient creatures help make the world feel alive.
One of the bigger additions is a full magic and mana system with powerful magical items. On top of that, machines, pipes, quarries, and automation systems push survival closer to the kind of technical modpack experience Java players are used to. World events like sandstorms, meteor showers, and the Maple Event round things out.
The mod also brings new ores, armor, weapons, and tools with progression woven into the vanilla gameplay loop. Custom backpacks, hats, and charms are in there too, along with hundreds of decorative blocks and an RPG-style quest system with unique rewards.
Custom biome generation and a pair of UI additions – a minimap and WAILA (What Am I Looking At) – complete the package.
The developers have been upfront about current issues: the pack is experiencing memory-related problems that can cause missing blocks and frame stutters. A fix is in the works.
As for a potential Minecraft Marketplace release, 5 Frame Studios hasn't gone through the approval process yet, but believes the minimap implementation will pass marketplace requirements.
