A fan gave Leon from Resident Evil Requiem a realistic baldness – and he's barely recognizable

Leon Kennedy has survived zombie apocalypses, bioweapons, cults, and government conspiracies – but there's one enemy he'd have no answer for: age-related hair loss.

A user named Maquinaremos posted a series of images showing Leon from Resident Evil Requiem stripped of his iconic hairstyle and sporting a receding hairline, which honestly makes sense for a 51-year-old man with the stress levels he carries.

Leon keeps his rugged look and tactical gear in the edits, but instead of the legendary hair there's a thinning patch on the sides and a wide "plateau" up top. It makes the iconic agent almost unrecognizable – at first glance, you'd think you're looking at a completely different person. It's a bit like the "eyebrow effect" – shave those off, and suddenly nobody knows who you are.

And since someone already took a shot at Leon, it's only fair to try the eyebrow effect on Grace too:

The community's reaction was about what you'd expect.

"This is what happens to Leon for using steroids."

"From Leon Kennedy to Henry the Bald."

One commenter put it philosophically: "going bald is one thing, not knowing what to do about it is another. Best move is to shave it all and grow a beard." Something like this:

Capcom clearly went the other direction, making sure Leon looks sharp and put-together in Requiem despite his age. The iconic hair is intact, wrinkles are minimal, and he's in better shape than most people half his age.

The fan edit is a reminder that realism in video games cuts both ways – and sometimes it's better to let heroes keep their in-game privileges.
