A toy listing just leaked Fallout 3 Remastered, and Oblivion Remastered's first anniversary is almost here
A pre-order listing for a collectible figure has appeared online, tagged with an interesting label – "Fallout 3 Remastered." Bethesda keeps acting like nobody's figured anything out, but the one-year anniversary of Oblivion Remastered is just around the corner.
The leak surfaced on Bro Depot, a collectibles retailer, where it was spotted by Toy News International before spreading across Reddit. Buried among McFarlane Toys listings was one entry that stood out: "Elite Edition 7in — Fallout 3 Remastered — #13 T-45B Nuka-Cola." That's a 7-inch T-45B power armor figure in Nuka-Cola livery, listed under the Fallout 3 Remastered brand.
The usual caveats apply – this didn't come from McFarlane's own website, but from a third-party retailer where data entry errors happen. That said, Bro Depot has a solid reputation among collectors, and toy listings like this have a long track record of turning out to be accurate.
If the listing is legitimate, the dates are worth a look. Pre-orders close March 15, with the figure down for release on August 31. Does that hint at a release window for the remaster? Possibly, but not necessarily – August 31 marks the end of the fiscal year for some organizations, so that date could easily be a placeholder.
The broader context does most of the talking. It's nearly been a year since Oblivion Remastered launched, Microsoft has every reason to want Bethesda printing money with proven formulas, and Todd Howard has already admitted he's a fan of the shadowdrop approach.
The date on the listing might mean nothing. But a piece of branded merchandise showing up under the "Fallout 3 Remastered" name didn't materialize from nowhere.
