Christopher Judge hints at a new Santa Monica announcement coming late summer

The actor who played Kratos in God of War 2018, Christopher Judge, let slip details about an upcoming announcement from Santa Monica Studios. Speaking with YouTuber Fuzhpuzy at a fan expo, Judge said:

"You'll be hearing about what we're doing probably late summer."

The video was spotted by RebsGaming on X, though it's currently unavailable on the YouTuber's channel. Judge also mentioned that TC Carson – the original voice of Kratos from the classic games – will reprise the role in the God of War Trilogy Remake.

This isn't the first time rumors have swirled around a new Santa Monica Studios title. Insider NateTheHate previously reported that Cory Barlog's game will be "shown this year and then released in 2027". What remains unclear is whether this refers to the long-discussed God of War Egypt game or an entirely new IP from the studio.

No official confirmation from Santa Monica has been made yet.
