Silent Hill Townfall appears to be a PS5 console exclusive at launch

It seems Silent Hill: Townfall – a spinoff of Konami's legendary horror series set in Scotland – will be a PlayStation console exclusive, at least at launch.

The game resurfaced after four years of silence last week during PlayStation State of Play – the trailer shows protagonist Simon Ordell arriving in the fictional Scottish town of St. Amelia to "put things right." Fog, melancholic music, and unmistakable signs that something has gone terribly wrong – a classic Silent Hill setup.

The official website only confirms PS5 and PC versions (Steam and Epic Games Store). Last week's press emails listed the same platforms. This points to a timed console exclusivity deal with Sony – similar to Bloober Team's Silent Hill 2 Remake, which spent a year on PS5 before coming to Xbox. By comparison, NeoBards' Silent Hill f launched simultaneously on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series last September.

Silent Hill: Townfall is scheduled for release in 2026.
