Minecraft revealed its final batch of baby mobs ahead of the spring update
Mojang has revealed the final set of baby mobs as part of the buildup to the first Minecraft drop of 2026, and the new models might be the cutest ones yet. Five baby mobs have been announced in total: the panda, Snifflet, baby Strider, Zoglin, and Hoglin.
The star of the show is the panda – one of the most beloved mobs in the game. The new two-pixel eye look applies to all baby panda variants, including the tongue-out model and the one with the snotty nose. The rest of the batch is largely Nether-focused, giving the drop a distinct thematic feel.
Also included are baby zombies, zombie villagers, and Husks. On top of that, the developer's blog post made it clear that this is the final batch of baby mobs before the update – meaning the next announcement should bring an official name for the drop and a release date.
For now, all that's confirmed is that the update is coming sometime in spring 2026.
