Overwatch brings back dating sim – romance Mercy or Genji before time runs out
Blizzard brought back the popular mini-project Loverwatch: Love Never Dies as a pleasant surprise for Overwatch fans. The browser-based romantic dating sim is available until March 1 and lets shooter fans spend time with Genji and Mercy while earning in-game rewards – icons, titles, and a highlight intro.
The game is available via link.
Loverwatch last launched in 2023, giving many fans a second chance to experience non-canon romantic scenarios with their favorite characters. The game works on PC and mobile devices, and you don't need to launch Overwatch itself to play it.
Completing Genji's route awards players the Lovey Dovey Genji icon and Genji's Peace title, while finishing Mercy's path unlocks the Lovey Dovey Mercy icon and Mercy's Angel title. After completing both romantic routes, a secret ending becomes available, rewarding the Lovey Dovey Hanzo icon, Cupid's Arrow title, and Cupid's Kiss highlight intro for Hanzo. The rewards are identical to those offered during Loverwatch's initial launch in February 2023.
Note that this is not the expanded dating sim Blizzard released exclusively for China in 2025. That version included unique art, outfits, and routes for Cassidy, D.Va, Genji, Junker Queen, Juno, Lifeweaver, and Mauga.
Overwatch is available free on PC and consoles.
