Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition released as complete collection celebrating the limbless hero

Ubisoft released Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch. The digital version launched on February 13, while physical copies will arrive in stores on June 26.

The edition includes five versions of the classic game – MS-DOS, PlayStation, Atari Jaguar, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance. All versions feature a reimagined soundtrack, with over 120 additional levels from Rayman's New Levels, Rayman 60 Levels, and Rayman By His Fans added to the base game. For the first time, the collection includes the long-lost Super Nintendo Entertainment System prototype, previously unavailable to players.

The anniversary edition features an exclusive interactive documentary running over 50 minutes. Original developers share insights into the game's creation, accompanied by rare concept art, early sketches, and design documents revealing the development process behind the limbless hero.

The rerelease preserves the classic gameplay where players use Rayman's signature punch and helicopter hair glide, traveling through vibrant worlds from the Dream Forest to Band Land's musical chaos. The objective remains unchanged – rescue the Electoons and save the world from the villain Mr. Dark.

For modern players' convenience, the collection adds a rewind function, multiple save slots, and accessibility options including infinite lives and instant level unlocks. These additions allow both newcomers and veterans to enjoy the cult platformer from the 90s.
