Solo developer's survival shooter Road to Vostok hits early access in April
Survival shooter from solo developer Road to Vostok launches in early access on April 7. The price will be €14.99 with a 25% launch discount for two weeks, after which it will increase to €19.99.
Road to Vostok was first unveiled in 2023 and gained significant attention – the title attracted over 400,000 players during its initial public testing.
The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic border zone between Finland and Russia, where players must survive, gather resources, and cross the Border Zone to reach Vostok – a dangerous and mysterious region where death means losing everything, from loot to save files.
The project is being developed by Finnish solo developer Antti Leinonen. Before creating the game, he served in the armed forces and taught visual game design. His efforts resulted in a single-player survival shooter with hardcore mechanics.
A demo is already available on Steam. So far, more than one million people have downloaded it, and 600,000 have added the game to their wishlist.
