CD Projekt RED announces Witcher-themed Reigns game featuring Geralt, Ciri, Dandelion and Triss

Publisher Devolver Digital and developer Nerial, in partnership with CD Projekt RED, announced Reigns: The Witcher for PC (Steam, GOG), iOS and Android. The game launches February 25.

The project represents another variation of the popular Reigns series, this time set in The Witcher universe. Players will control Geralt of Rivia, navigating through the drunken ballads of bard Dandelion.

Gameplay preserves the series' signature swipe mechanic – players make decisions, hunt monsters, clash with locals, or simply take a hot bath. Each choice influences the epic story Dandelion tells.

Reigns: The Witcher offers thousands of storyline combinations. Quests from colorful characters rarely prove as simple as they first appear, while Dandelion's ballads steer the narrative in dramatic and peculiar directions. Familiar faces including Yennefer, Triss, and Vesemir will accompany Geralt on his journey.

Special emphasis is placed on Dandelion's career. Players can perform polished retellings of Geralt's greatest hits outside the tavern, solving puzzles and unlocking new deeds and characters. Leveling up the bard creates increasingly epic plotlines and ultimately achieves legendary status.
