ARC Raiders players with accessibility controllers are getting banned

Embark Studios has flagged a serious issue with ARC Raiders anti-cheat system: some players are getting banned for using accessibility peripherals – devices like the Xbox Adaptive Controller designed for people with physical disabilities.

The anti-cheat system appears to be misidentifying specialized controllers and adaptive input devices as cheat software or unauthorized tools. These peripherals are widely used by players with physical limitations and are essential for them to participate in the game at all.

Embark Studios is urging affected players to submit appeals through the support team while the studio works toward a fix.
