An Italian ARC Raiders fan handcrafted stunning game dioramas featuring a Bastion and a Leaper

The ARC Raiders community keeps growing beyond the game itself. An Italian miniature artist known as hero_work_shop built two detailed dioramas recreating scenes from the extraction shooter. A friend posted the work on Reddit, and the reaction from players was overwhelming – even Embark's community lead stopped by to leave a compliment.

The first diorama shows two raiders coming face to face with a Bastion – an armored ARC that can wipe an entire squad in seconds. The raider figures wear recognizable in-game skins, and the Bastion itself is rendered with impressive detail. Fans in the comments were quick to point out the irony: charging a Bastion with nothing but a Kettle in hand is basically a death sentence.

The second piece is even more chaotic. A Leaper is mid-attack on a group of raiders – one is already down on the ground while another calmly cracks open a probe, completely unbothered by the mayhem around him. A signal flare rises above the whole scene, built from painted cotton wool with a light source inside. That detail got the biggest reaction from viewers.

All the miniatures were 3D-printed in resin, then hand-painted and placed on custom bases. The artist started out making minis for Dungeons & Dragons before gradually moving into recreating video game scenes.

The process was genuinely collaborative – STL files for the figures were purchased (the Bastion model, as it turns out, was made by another community member), and then the artist and his friend booted up ARC Raiders to capture reference screenshots of character skins and environments.

Community lead OssenJ responded with a single word – "incredible".

For the artist, that wave of support meant a lot. His friend wrote that he was "literally in shock" from the volume of compliments and ideas pouring in from the community. Miniature work recently became his sole source of income, and the response gave him a serious push to keep going.

He takes commissions for custom work and offered to build the best community-suggested scene as a gift for one of the commenters.
