Kojima Productions to release Death Stranding 2 on PC in March

At the State of Play presentation, Kojima Productions officially announced the PC version of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. The game will launch on Steam on March 19, 2026.

Death Stranding 2 debuted on PS5 on June 26, 2025, as a timed exclusive. The PC port arrives eight months after the console release – the same timeframe that separated the original Death Stranding's PS4 launch in November 2019 from its PC version in July 2020.

Kojima hinted at the announcement beforehand by posting several social media updates about editing a trailer. One screenshot showed the text "A Hideo Kojima Game" and a Death Stranding 2026 calendar. Rumors about the PC version intensified after an ESRB rating for the Windows version briefly appeared on the website in November 2025.
